Who or what is the Irish National Flood Forum?

The INFF was set up in Skibbereen in 19/9/2011.Its Chairman is Michael Thornhill.It is a voluntary organisation.

It’s purpose is to represent people whose property has been flooded.The Forum has members in
Skibbereen,Clonakilty,Bandon,
Blackpool,Cork City Centre,Balinasloe,Lexlip,Dublin,
Limerick,Kilkenny,Clonmel and Carrigaline.We also have liaised with the following bodies who would have similar views on the lack of Flood Insurance.

The Forum also liaises with the OPW
to help create an open flow of information between flooded communities and the proposed new Flood Alleviation Schemes that the OPW undertake.
